Although it takes just 2-3 business days after receipt of your order to print your order, you will need to allow time for shipping, addressing your invitations and for guests to respond. Invitations should be mailed six weeks before the wedding, so order them at least two months before your wedding date.
To get a new password, please go to the Sign In page and click the 'Forgot your password?' link. We’ll send your password to the email address in your profile. For your protection, we will also delete your credit card information if it is on file. Please have your credit card available to enter the next time you place an order.

Throughout our personalization process, you will see an accurate, up-to-date preview of your stationery item. This preview feature is our version of a digital proof, and it's FREE!

If you would like to request a proof sent via email, please check the box in your shopping cart "Include a Proof for $15." Within 1-2 business days you will receive an email including a link to your color proof showing the layout, wording, and typesetting. Upon approval of your proof(s), your order will be processed.
Yes, you may change the font size on your invitation in the personalizer. During the personalization process click on the "Change Your Styles" tab to change your font size.
Yes! Choose a lettering style that catches your eye and matches your wedding style. Your lettering style should complement the invitation ensemble you choose. All your wedding stationery should be printed with the same lettering style to create a truly complementary ensemble.

State sales tax will apply only if you reside in the state of Idaho or Washington.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, we may not have received the order or we may not have a current email address. With our simple online ordering system it’s easy to personalize and preview your item before completing your order. By clicking on any product, you will be directed to that item’s product page. Once there, you can find all of that product’s information and you can begin the personalization process by clicking on the "Personalize It’ button. You will also see a link for step-by-step directions: "How Does This Work?"
Your invitation is a very personal reflection of you, and we encourage you to create a message that conveys your unique feelings. However, please keep in mind the size of your invitation and remember each line over the 14-line standard will receive a $1.50 charge per line. In addition, invitations with existing verses stamped in foil may not be changed.
You may change the verse, design, font size, font style, ink color, and text alignment during the personalization process online. If you need a custom change that is not available online, please call a Customer Service Representative at 1-800-285-8938. Additional set-up charges may apply.
Yes, most invitations include a blank inner envelope and a blank outer envelope. You may choose to add a return address to your outer envelope and a colored liner to your inner envelope during your personalization process for an additional charge.
Professionally printed envelopes add a nice, coordinated touch to your wedding stationery and save you time and errors. Let us address the front of your envelopes for you! Custom envelope orders cannot be ordered online. Call in your order at 1-800-285-8938. You may view pricing and the process here.
To determine how many programs you need, count exactly how many guests will attend and order one for each guest plus a few extras for guests you may have overlooked, as well as keepsakes for yourself!.
We suggest three cocktail napkins per guest for the bar area, two cocktail napkins per guest for the cake table, and two luncheon napkins per guest for dining purposes. Feel free to order more than what you may need because personalized wedding napkins can be used at home or in future celebrations, such as anniversaries or holidays.
The paper colors, sizes and designs of the invitations are available only as shown in the photos. However, you may add the accent color you want with the ink and lined inner envelope colors you select. We recommend choosing the same ink color and typestyle for printing your entire ensemble to achieve a unified look.

Our invitations are made in a variety of colors to complement every wedding theme and color. Below is a description of the subtle differences between these paper colors. Each invitation lists the paper color in the description.

Soft White — Soft white invitations, like white wedding gowns, have been the traditional choice of brides for years because of their soft, vanilla-colored hue and ability to complement other colors.

Bright White — Our bright white invitations are the ultimate in whites...so crisp and pure they will light up guests’ eyes!

Ecru — Creamy and warm, ecru invitations have always been a socially correct choice. Their versatility makes them perfect for weddings with either white or off-white color schemes.
Yes! Choose an ink color that will complement your wedding colors and your invitation’s design. Prices shown are for black ink, but any ink color listed may be printed on your invitations, enclosure cards and envelopes for an additional charge of $7.00. You also have the option of adding a second ink color to your wording on some invitations for just $30.00 extra.

Note that colors may vary slightly from your original order. This is due to regular calibrations of the press and variations in paper stock. We cannot guarantee an exact color match for items printed on different dates for the same item, or for items sharing the same color.

Note: To save money, please consider ordering additional personalized invitations and stationery items for mementos and any oversights on your original order. This could be a savings of more than 50%! See example below.

Photo Questions


You may currently upload photos in the following formats: PDF, EPS, TIFF, AI, BMP and JPG.
Black and white images should have a resolution of 600 dpi (dots per inch) or higher. All other images should have a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. Your photo may be too small for the product you are ordering. This can result in a grainy or pixilated item. Also, attempting to resize the photo may distort the image quality. Since the overall outcome of your stationery is highly dependent on the quality of your photos, it is important to use the original and unedited photos. A larger version of a photo may be needed, or if you have another image that would be a better fit for the product, please use that image instead.
To increase the dpi on your photo, it will need to be rescanned or re-saved to your computer making sure that your properties setting is at least 300 dpi on the resolution and the dimensions are at least 1500 x 2100 pixels to create the best image.

Creating the perfect photo invitation is easy! We guide you through the ordering process every step of the way. First, choose your invitation style. Then, click on the item, which will take you to the product detail page. From there, click on the "Personalize it" button. You will be prompted to register and create an account with us in just a few quick steps. After you create your account, you'll be prompted to upload your photos.
This library allows you to upload photos you have saved on your computer. Once you have created your albums, you will be ready to create your cards using those saved photo files.
You may store an unlimited number of photos in your account.
Yes. The size limit is 10MB per photo.
Uploaded photos can be stored for up to 6 months. After 6 months, photo(s) are automatically removed from the account.

Foreign Wording


Any of our invitations can be printed in any language using the English alphabet at no additional charge. We strongly recommend that you provide us with a typed copy of your invitation verse and personalization (with all accents and captialization clearly indicated), to avoid errors. Please submit your order exactly as you'd like it to be printed via email.

If you would like to place an order with foreign language not using the English alphabet, please follow the instructions below.
  • Email your order to customer.service@invitations.bedbathandbeyond.com.
  • Be sure to include your contact information, item#, ink color, font style, quantity, shipping preference and any other information regarding your order.
  • Submit an EPS or PDF high resolution file with text and/or custom artwork aligned as you would like to see it on your card.
  • Please DO NOT include payment information in your email. We will contact you via phone for your payment and to verify your order information.
  • Foreign wording custom artwork orders will be produced within 5 business days. We will then ship your order to you based on your shipping preference.
Yes. You will need to request this as two separate orders. The non-English order should be submitted following the instructions above via email. The other order in English may be submitted online or also attached with your email. If you place your order online, please note in special instructions that you have emailed us your non-English wording for the other part of your order. You will be billed for two separate orders with separate quantities – a minimum quantity of 25 required for each. For example: if you order 75 Spanish invitations and 50 English invitations, the price will not necessarily be the same as if you ordered 125 invitations with the same imprint.
Yes. If there is room on the invitation, we can print both languages on the same invitation so you can place just one order instead of two separate orders. Please indicate clearly in special instructions how you would like the layout to appear. There is no additional charge to print two languages on the same card, but if your layout requires printing on the reverse side of the card or a special set up (printing on an area of the imprint side that is not shown with an imprint), there may be additional fees. Please submit your order following the instructions above via email. We will contact you if there are any additional set up fees that would apply.
Sorry, we do not offer translation services at this point in time.
You may, but we do not recommend automatic/online translations. Since these websites use prearranged direct translations, they do not take into account the context in which you are speaking. It is often very difficult to understand automatically translated text, since errors in grammar, plurality/gender agreement, verb tense and verb conjugation are common.

We offer a wide selection of wedding invitation wording for your celebration. Whether you are looking for traditional verses for a second wedding or an informal verse announcing your recent marriage in the Caribbean, we will feature all the verse options for you to choose from while personalizing your item.

Order separate enclosure cards printed with your alternate site information and include them in your invitations. On your map cards, be sure to include the alternate site, marking it with an asterisk and the words "In case of rain." If the weather is questionable the day of the wedding, station friends at each location to inform arriving guests where the wedding will be held.
Corner copy is a unique and economical option for wedding invitations. It is most commonly used instead of a reception card, but it can be used to communicate:
  • No gifts.
  • Adult reception only.
  • Black tie optional.
  • Donations being accepted as gifts to a favorite charity.
  • Reminder to recycle this invitation.

Corner copy is usually located in the bottom left or bottom right corner of the invitation; we do not recommend copy in both corners. Since the font size is smaller, the lettering style chosen for your invitation wording may not be legible for corner copy. If so, choose a font that looks nice but is easy to read.

Our packages ship by UPS and have an official Tracking Number. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number as soon as your order ships. You can click the link on your confirmation or go to UPS’s website to track your package.
